HCP National Insurance Services, Inc. (HCP) is proud to be a Minority and Woman-Owned Insurance Brokerage.
HCP National is an independent privately held commercial insurance brokerage serving clients nationwide. For more than 20 years, HCP has helped American businesses reduce their insurance costs while providing them with the best possible coverage and terms. As a top-five producing broker for many stop loss and reinsurance markets, HCP is the largest insurance agency in the country to be owned and led by a minority woman: Andrea “Cris” Dyer.
As an Afro-Brazilian American immigrant woman, Cris is honored to represent females, black people, and other people of color in the insurance industry.
In 2005, Cris purchased HCP National and assumed the roles of President and CEO. Since that time, HCP has grown exponentially. This remarkable growth can be attributed to Cris’s strong work ethic, as well as two of her core business philosophies: “Do what’s best for the client, first and always” and “Customer service is defined as speed and accuracy.”
As a Certified WBENC and MBE agency, Health Care Plus Insurance Services, Inc. (DBA as HCP National Insurance Services, Inc.) is one of the few national commercial insurance brokerages which is owned and managed by a black minority woman.
From the very beginning, HCP has been a collective of diverse individuals. HCP’s team comprises 90% women, 80% minorities, and 5% employees with learning differences. Through a commitment to diversity, internally and externally, HCP can deliver the most value, thought leadership, and innovation to clients.
HCP National built its insurance brokerage by helping clients identify opportunities to save money, while keeping their organizations fully covered. Since its founding, HCP has placed over $1 billion in premium and currently covers over 1 million lives and members, from self-insured medical insurance plans to risk-bearing entities. HCP has additional expertise in all forms of employee benefits and property & casualty.
Since 1994, HCP National has been known as the “Healthcare Industry’s Insurance Broker,” helping healthcare providers define and minimize their risks by implementing the right insurance products at an affordable price. In addition to healthcare, HCP serves all other industries, including nonprofits, governmental organizations, education, small businesses, and large corporations.
